Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and how you stay in control of it.

What we collect and why

  • Your account email. Used to sign you in, send essential service emails, and identify your account. Nothing is sent to you that you haven't asked for.
  • Check-in conversation content. What you say in text and AI video check-ins is stored so you can look back on your history, and so your recovery program can work. It is also used to give the AI companion context for the conversation.
  • Mood and trigger logs. The moods you set on check-ins and triggers you log power your dashboard.
  • Usage data. Basic records of how you use the service (such as how many check-ins you've started) so plan limits and program unlocking work correctly.

What we never do

We never sell your check-in data to advertisers, insurers, or employers. That's a promise, not a policy footnote. Your conversations are yours.

Payments

If you subscribe to a paid plan, the payment is processed by Paddle.com, which handles the charge, taxes, and refunds as the seller of record. Paddle processes your payment details directly — HonestPause never sees your full card details. We keep only what's needed to know which plan you're on and when it renews.

How long we keep your data

Your check-ins, logs, and program progress are kept while your account is active, so your history and program keep working. When you delete your account, that data is deleted with it. We keep only what the law requires us to keep afterwards, and no longer than necessary.

Your choices and controls

From the Privacy & data section of your Account page, you can:

  • Download my data — get a copy of your profile, check-in conversations, and program progress as a file you can keep.
  • Delete my account — permanently delete your account and everything stored with it. This can't be undone.

You can also update your notification preferences on the same page at any time.

Your rights

If you're in the UK or EU, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, and take a copy of it with you (portability). If you're in the US, we handle your data to the same standards — you can access, correct, delete, and export it using the tools described above, whatever country you're in.

To exercise any right, or to ask anything at all about your data, email pushhigher70@gmail.com.

Questions
